Get disposed of the becoming worthless items before the advent of Wrath of the Lich King.
Previously we have dwelled on the items worthing players' collection and preservation, now we will relate on other ones which acts otherwise. The items and enchantes that affect mounted speed, such as the Riding Crop, Mithril Spurs, Riding Glove Enchant, Carrot on a Stick, and Skybreaker Whip, will no longer be available for the characters over level 70.
Therefore, as many supposed, players with these items should immediately sell them out for a considerable rewards otherwise they will suffer the lose.
Any items or enchants that affect mounted speed will no longer affect any character over level 70. This includes the Riding Crop, Mithril Spurs, Riding Glove Enchant, Carrot on a Stick, Skybreaker Whip and all similar effects. Talents or spells that affect mounted speed will continue to do. In part, we thought it had become a hassle for players to have to equip (or macro) riding trinkets. We have new plans for how to improve mounted speed that we will unveil eventually.
Following we will list the items respectively with its own characters.
Riding Crop: Unique-Equipped, Trinket, Requires Level 69.
Equip: Increases mount speed by 10%.
Mithril Spurs:
Use: Attaches spurs to your boots that increase your mounted movement speed by 4%.
Riding Glove Enchant: Requires Enchanting (250)
Use:Permanently enchant gloves to increase mount speed by 2%.
"Teaches you how to permanently enchant gloves to give a minor bonus to riding speed."
Charges: 1 (Expendable)
Carrot on a Stick: Unique-Equipped, Trinket
Equip: Increases mount speed by 3%.
Skybreaker Whip: Unique-Equipped, Trinket
Equip: Increases mount speed by 10%.
