Want to go from zero to three-hundred skill in just a few hours? No problem, provided sufficient preparation - and a little guidance from someone who's done it before wouldn't hurt, either. Most professions have a few highly desirable items that are bind on pickup - meaning if you want one, you have to level the profession and make it yourself. As I recently ran my priest from 0 to 300 tailoring in order to craft myself Truefaith Vestments (trust me, it wasn't very much fun), I thought I would try to gather up some information for people trying to do similar tasks.
Powerleveling Enchanting up to 265 ,I know this will vary from server to server, but I am considering dropping skinning for a bit now to get enchanting for the Smoldering Heart of the Mountain trinket.
Other than the costs for the recipe, how much would you estimate it to cost ?
And, would it be possible to get there just using 'store bought' recipes ?
I've been stalking the AH for a while, and found it's fairly easy to obtain essences and the like for a fairly low price if you just know what items to purchase for cheap. (spending 40s for an item to get 2 greater nether essences - which go for 3g each is a great way to make a living...) so am not -too- worried, but rather not find out the entire thing would cost me about 1k gold.
1. First of all you need to be lvl 60 if you arent already.
2. The best class of all to power level your enchanting to your target level is probably a mage (AoE takes out most non-elites in instances in no time) If you dont have AoE it makes it slightly slower, but works all the same.
3. From 1-125 I think you have to grind in Deadmines because I did one run and got around 30-40 greens, didnt pick up anything else.
4. Then from 125-200 you need soul dust, which I think, if I am correct, drops well in SM. SM graveyard has them non-elite 30-40s (Im not sure what level, but they die easy with IAE and drop good cloth and greens)
5. Im guessing, since I didnt bother after around 190, that grinding in WPL in that Andoral (cant remember the name completely) area. Here I never used AoE as a mage, I just killed them as a normal enemy, and every 50-100 you might get a green/blue, and plenty of re-spawns.
