This is just a description of what I did to get to 300 power level leatherworking. Hopefully it will be useful to someone.
Materials Needed:
369 x Light Leather
586 x Medium Leather
389 x Heavy Leather
661 x Thick Leather
340 x Rugged Leather
8 x Cured Heavy Hide
5 x Iron Buckles
112 x Turtle Scales
4 x Wildvine
2 x Cured Thick Hides
In addition for the leatherworking quests you need an extra 10 Thick Leather and 7 Wildvine.

List was made using only easily obtainable vendor/trainer recipes and components available from the supplier vendor. For best results, sell most things back to the vendor and you will at least break even. Some items created are magic and can be DE’d for extra cash. Using dropped recipes at appropriate points can save you 20% or so in materials. I will post later total gold spent in materials other than leather, including trainer costs. Having a blacksmith that can make you iron buckles can save you considerable grief and materials as well in the 180 to 225 range.
